Schedule
Lost time equals lost opportunity. At JV Driver, we manage our schedules very closely. Our philosophy is that our schedule is not just a recorder; it is one of our main management tools and demands active team participation. Our scheduling techniques are extremely effective. Our tools include CPM scheduling software, earned value curves, look-ahead schedules and a detailed reporting system. As a result, we meet our milestones.
We utilize a detailed shutdown planning system. It is effective and deadlines are met, not missed. Our system divides the work into packages that define safety, quality material, schedule and work procedures for all items. We utilize earned values to track progress on all schedule and work procedures on all shutdown work. Completion tags are assigned for all activities and tracked on a shift-by-shift basis. This ensures that work is complete and has been inspected.
