Partnerships in Health and Safety

JV Driver receives a Certificate of Recognition for their Health and Safety Program. In qualifying for this certificate JV Driver has: 

  • Prepared a written health and safety plan appropriate to the needs of our staff
  • Discussed injury prevention issues with our staff and invited their ongoing participation in the health and safety program
  • Identified hazards and hazard controls and an ongoing process
  • Developed and Implemented good health and safety practices; and
  • Developed a review process for changes and ongoing improvements to the program

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By Participating in the development and operation of the "Partnerships" program; JV Driver, Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry, and the Alberta Construction Safety Association, along with the Worker's Compensation Board have begun a process which will substantially contribute toward reducing accidents, ill health, and their associated costs.
