
McArthur River Uranium Mine
JV Driver spearheaded the joint venture English River Constructors. Utilizing innovative labour strategies implemented by JV Driver, English River Constructors successfully built the Uranium Slurry Loadout Facility for Cameco Corporation of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The facility included the largest Pachuca Tanks ever built in Canada and a 100 foot high concrete containment wall constructed through extreme weather conditions. Full civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, and instrumentation services were provided for the project.
This project employed a peak workforce of 247 individuals primarily in an open shop labour scenario. The job was completed in eleven months with no Lost Time Accidents.
