Esterhazy K2 Mine Expansion

JV Driver has been awarded the Compactor Building for the Esterhazy K2 Mine Expansion. The structure measures 80 ft. (Width) X 150 ft. (Height) X 80 ft. (Depth). JV Driver’s scope includes the piping, mechanical, chutes, ducting and a portion of the structural steel. The project incorporates over 3000 ft. of pipe of varying commodities. The Mechanical equipment includes multiple drag chain conveyors and elevators. 

In addition to the construction scope of work we are providing purchasing and expediting services to our client.

The project peaks at 72 men, and to date has been completed with no Medical Aids and no Lost Time Accidents.

Mosaic Belle Plaine Expansion

JV Driver was awarded the Phase 1 Expansion to the Belle Plaine Facility. The primary purpose of the expansion is to increase the water availability to the mine field in order to allow further solution mining. The award included the following scope: 

In addition to the construction scope, JV Driver is providing constructability, purchasing, and expediting services to our client. The total estimated direct man-hours is 140,000 and to date has been completed with no Lost Time Accidents. 

McArthur River Uranium Mine

JV Driver spearheaded the joint venture English River Constructors. Utilizing innovative labour strategies implemented by JV Driver, English River Constructors successfully built the Uranium Slurry Loadout Facility for Cameco Corporation of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The facility included the largest Pachuca Tanks ever built in Canada and a 100 foot high concrete containment wall constructed through extreme weather conditions. Full civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, and instrumentation services were provided for the project.

This project employed a peak workforce of 247 individuals primarily in an open shop labour scenario. The job was completed in eleven months with no Lost Time Accidents.
